I am so happy to have service with you guys! I have been with LP&L and have to have service with them at our business which I hate! I don’t understand how people can complain about the rates. So much better than the alternative. I have seen the workers personally working in that last awful ice storm and they had workers knocking on doors letting us know what was being done and the approximate time for service to be running again as well as checking on our wellbeing. Awesome service to do business with!

We’re new to the area and have been with them for 5 months so far. In that time we’ve only had one outage and it was beyond their control. During that time they kept their customers informed to the best of their ability until power was restored. So with that said so far they have been great.
Our neighbors had their power cut by a contractor yesterday. Even though it wasn’t their problem, SPEC still took action to help get their power back on in a timely manner.

Friendly, professional and great communication. What more could you ask for.

Worst company service. I moved out of town in November. Called ahead and they confirmed they would turn off my service. Guess it’s my fault because I didn’t call them day of. Called in January to pay off stuff that I wasn’t even living in town for. Was told if I owed anything else I’d get a new bill. No bill shows up. Until today, SIX MONTHS after I paid my final bill or so I thought. Apparently they don’t send notices to tell you that you still owe money. You should just know. So either I paid money that no one billed me for or they send me to collections. The lady on the phone said “well the bill was printed before”.. so why didn’t I get a NEW BILL? Why did no one contact me until six months later with a collection notice? Thank God I don’t live there anymore.

I don’t have this Service, but everyone that I know that does has nothing but good words to say about how awesome it is. I would give anything to pay decent, and reasonable prices to have electric. I have 8 children and with LP&L my bill is never under 500.00 monthly.
