Look no further for excellent investment and planning guidance! Sofian is extremely knowledgeable, helpful and practical. He listens and asks the right questions and then provides customized advice - not only investment expertise, but also financial planning, which is just as important. He helped me figure out my retirement goals, projected needs and income, and what it would take for me to be able to meet those goals. He checks in regularly to make sure I understand what's going on with the market and how it affects me. He gives me choices for changes to my investment strategy and explains the pros and cons of each decision. The personalized attention I receive from Sofian and his amazing assistant, Roxanne, is at a level I've never experienced before. Instead of being ignored or given cookie-cutter advice, as happened to me with other firms, I get the star treatment - even though my investments are modest.

I switched from Charles Schwab to Sofian Haikal at EJ because of the great service. I really appreciated how Sofian looks at the big picture, from my current work all the way through retirement and beyond (legacy). I think I’m gonna switch all my employees IRA to him as well because I know they will be in good hands. Schwab doesn’t do squat for their customers.

My wife and I each had a 401(k) leftover from another job. Since I do not have a lot of investing knowledge I decided to work with a financial adviser rather than try and manage those funds by myself. I was introduced to Sofian and he helped my wife and I create a financial plan for our future using those old 401(k) accounts as the base. He took a great deal of time and care to explain the in's and out's of Edward Jones, the company philosophy and even how the company (and his) commission is earned. I asked a lot of questions since I am not knowledgeable about the subject and he was very patient with me and explained things very clearly. After figuring out our risk tolerances, accounts were set up quickly and we are now investing a small amount each month for the future. This is all outside of our current company 401(k) accounts. I am very pleased with Sofian, his knowledge of investing and his overall service so far. I would recommend that anyone who has questions about investing for retirement should speak with Sofian.
