Placed an order this evening on the co-op app for a slot between 6-8 this evening didn’t show up phoned the store and the manager informed me that the driver never turned up the manager phoned me back and said he was going to send one of his staff up which he did so grateful for this and big thank you to the manager and the young lady that dropped our shopping off at the camp site for us

Some staff (not all) spend much of the time chatting to friends at the till catching up on gossip that the queues generally get massive, normally only have 1person on tills, leaving customers relying on self service. Which is worse as when an item needs staff approval you have to wait for them to approve it. They do use their communicators to call an extra member of staff who’s filling shelves to come to the tills and help out but all in all it’s always been a weird system.

There was a huge problem with the prices I would rather go to lidl and save 10 pounds on the same products that are there at co-op. Staff was alright but not professional

Disgraceful attempt at service. I’ve wasted too many minutes standing waiting to be served at this shop with Assistants busy doing nothing, doing anything but serve and reduce the obvious frustrating queue. It really isn’t possible to go to this store at any time of the day and be served quickly. It’s just unfortunate that the Coop has to be our local shop, I will definitely do my best to avoid having to go back there.

Very good quite unexpectedly they had some things I didn't expect them to have. Although very busy, staff were polite. Only criticism is the car park a bit of a night mare to get in and out of.

The store is fairly well stocked and has the usual co-op products.

The store itself is fairly tired looking, certainly hasn't been updated in a number of years (decades).

Yes they have tried to upgrade with the insertion of a Costa coffee machine and hot foods but it's very much like covering up the cracks with tape.

The worst part of the "shopping experience" is the staff and a lack of them.
Service is appallingly slow, the self service tills seem to be set up to frustrate.

Being the only supermarket in town certainly means that they don't feel the need to service customers or make any effort to, knowing that a large majority of customers have little to no other option.

Yes I've seen worse Co-op's but definitely seen better ones.

It's not the biggest of supermarkets, but it's in the right place and it's got a really good selection for its size.

As expected, being a Co-op, the quality is excellent. The staff have never been anything other than helpful and friendly.
